We started Vectiro because we lived the problem first-hand — fragile agents, siloed tools, compliance gaps that kept us up at night. The right answer was to build from scratch, for the cloud.
Born from a Real Problem
In 2025, four cloud engineers in Pune set out to solve a problem they had lived first-hand across years of building and running cloud infrastructure. Backup tools were aging faster than the clouds they were supposed to protect. Agents needed to be deployed, patched, and monitored on every workload. Multi-cloud meant multiple consoles, multiple policies, and multiple points of failure. Compliance audits were painful, manual exercises. And when disaster struck, recovery was never as fast as the runbooks promised.
The answer turned out simpler than the tooling assumed: connecting an account should take minutes, not days, with no agents to babysit. So that is what we built — an agentless, policy-driven platform that protects your AWS workloads from a single pane of glass, with Azure and GCP on the way.
From day one, we designed for the engineer who has too much to manage and not enough time to babysit a backup tool. Vectiro is the platform we always wished existed.
